2nd Week And PRAHA czech it outttt

PRAGUE WAS FREEZING. But absolutely magical and the food and beer was amazing. We had to wear all our clothes at once literally layers upon layers and after the trip was over basically never wanted to wear any of it again.
- We had a very early flight, shannon cami and alexis had gone to knife party and went straight from it to the airport. We all ate mcdonalds which was a terrible idea
- when we arrived we stayed at a place called Hostel Homer (like homer simpson) which had very comfy beds and very nice spacious showers. However it was raining the entire time. Also no one spoke anything remotely close to english everything sounded slavic or whatever but hey we were in eastern europe.
- we bought the worlds most beatest umbrellas. ever made. in the history of ever. They tried to kill us multiple times. Throwing them away was one of the highlights of my trip, no joke. Especially shannon's.
- Our first meal was onion soup in bread bowls which was bomb and dumplings, also bomb. Everything is incredibly cheap here but korunas are weird and a hassle to convert. all their beer has more alcohol content which was chilllll Camilla and I got chocolate beer which was 13.5 % alcohol.
- We took a free tour around old town square and the jewish quarter. In the museum of the jewish quarter which we unfortunately never got to see because it was flooding had pictures drawn by little kids from the holocaust. A czech woman had them draw them as a way to cope with their pain, but they mostly drew things that made them happy which was touching.
- The clock tower was dopeeee and the story behind it was pretty gnarly. Everything in Prague is super old and beautiful, like a medieval fairy tale
- We took a nap then went on a ridiculous bar crawl with a bunch of gay dutch soldiers. It was as weird as it sounded but fun nevertheless. Prague is most beautiful at night in my opinion its almost brighter and warmer and the castle sparkles in the distance :). the five story club sucked it was like a middle school dance with freaks in braces but hey what else is there to do in eastern europe? We also tried absinthe, wasn't the legitimate kind but still tasted like burning acid in your sinuses.
- Day 2 was the best day. For once it stopped raining. We crossed the bridge to the castle square which was unreal, the bridge itself was unreal, basically everything was ridiculous. There was also the most precious teenage boy singing wonderwall and playing the guitar on the bridge. All the guys in prague are ridiculously hott but don't speak a single word of english and I feel go very under-appreciated, especially some of the castle guards we asked for help.
- The cathedral and the castle area was some of the oldest most beautiful architecture I've ever seen much like Cathedral of Barcelona. They even have two guards who literally do not move just like in britain.
- We had the besttt meal at the monastery where we went beer tasting. The beer was also ridiculously good especially the IPA alexis got. Its also crazy cheap alcohol is like a dollar there. Cami and I had roast chicken and I also got potato dumplings and this purple cabbage. Nom nom nom. Shannon also tried Gulash and alexis got beer onion soup.
- The John lennon wall was incredible. One of my favorite parts of the trip. The locks of love bridge kinda sucked in comparison to the expectations we had but oh well. At least I will see the one in Paris!
- We had hott wine too which is my new favorite thing. Its like mulled in spices and perfect for a cold day :)
- stayed at hostel tyn our favorite hostel thus far, literally the beds were luxurious
- 3rd day we basically just walked around met with shannon and camis friend from state who was in Theta in Prague and her guys friends and went to this place called "The Pub" which was neat. Got my last thing of Hot wine and Gulash soup in a bread bowl. Bittersweet but it was too cold and we needed to get back to barca and the sun :)
